United Way/Centraide Windsor-Essex County launched its annual Backpacks for Success drive; a program that provides students in kindergarten through grade 12, in Windsor-Essex County, with backpacks filled with grade-appropriate supplies they need for school. Providing kids with back-to-school supplies increases classroom participation, attendance and student morale.
Farrow and its employees have been longtime United Way supporters and were among the first to help United Way launch Backpacks for Success. Take a look at the video below for Rick Farrow participating in this years Backpacks for Success!
Farrow, also, made a donation of 150 backpacks filled with supplies to Brantford, Ontario.
How to donate: For just $25, donors can support one backpack filled with school supplies. It’s easy to donate or fundraise online this year at www.weareunited.com/backpacks.
Backpacks and books will be distributed to children through existing United Way programs and other non-profit partners serving children and youth before the school year begins.
