Farrow and Chairman, Rick Farrow, co-sponsoring Ayr pump track project
Both Farrow and our Chairman, Rick Farrow, are co-sponsoring a remarkable project – the construction of a 20,000 sq ft asphalt pump track in Ayr, Ontario (North Dumfries township), with a combined donation of $15,000!
The Ayr Pump Track will be designed for all things on wheels. From mountain bikes to BMXs, skateboards, and even wheelchairs, the track will be an inclusive playground accessible for all wheels. The track will provide youth, families, and sports enthusiasts with a safe, enjoyable, and close-to-home facility where they can participate in healthy, fun outdoor activities.
“It is a pleasure to sponsor another incredible community initiative; one that brings family and friends together in a safe, welcoming, and empowering environment that is inclusive to all ages, skill sets, and abilities,” says Rick Farrow, Chairman of Farrow.
The need for a new track came to light through the efforts of Jerrett Bellamy, who is a BMX rider, pump track enthusiast, and community advocate. He founded the Ayr Skatepark Committee and spearheaded the production of the MacNeil & Dodd North Dumfries Skatepark, which Farrow also sponsored in 2020.
The new Ayr Pump Track will be opening spring/summer of 2025 – get ready to strap your bucket on!
