ZIM Customer Update – Containers Overboard
Below is a direct message from ZIM customer service regarding overboard containers.
Regarding MV ZIM KINGSTON V12N encountered heavy sea conditions while on its way from Pusan to Vancouver which led to containers falling overboard, later on several containers on board the vessel and some caught fire.
Based on the current information we have received from the Vessel Owner it seems your container no. as per below is still on board the vessel:
At this point in time, it is not possible to confirm if it has been damaged or not. Once the vessel will be approved for berth, and surveys will take place we will be able to provide further information.
We once more apologize for any inconvenience caused due to this incident.
