Preliminary determination of concrete reinforcing bar

Home News Preliminary determination of concrete reinforcing bar

The preliminary phase of the investigation is now complete. The evidence available to the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) indicates that concrete reinforcing bar originating in or exported from Oman and Russia has been dumped. Therefore, on March 4, 2021, the CBSA made a preliminary determination of dumping respecting these goods pursuant to subsection 38(1) of the Special Import Measures Act.

Provisional duties will now be payable on the subject goods that are released from the CBSA on or after March 4, 2021.

The Notice of preliminary determination is available in its entirety on the CBSA website.
