Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) update on floods in British Columbia
As a result of the unfortunate flooding occurring in British Columbia, Canadian Society of Customs Brokers (CSCB) have received numerous questions and requests for guidance. They want to assure you that they are aware of the various challenges that this situation has presented to all, and as a result, they are working diligently to clarify reporting requirements and to devise potential solutions to accommodate domestic movements moving in-transit through the United States (US) to reach their final destination.
The CBSA is actively engaging with various Industry sectors, Regional Operations, US Customs and Border Protection and other government departments to identify resolutions.
You can find the full CSCB notice here.
