Donations to charities have continued since 2010

Windsor, ON – Continuing an annual tradition of assisting families in need during the holiday season, this year Farrow will donate over $27,000 to 20 food banks across North America.

“As an organization, one of our annual goals is to continually support the communities in which operate” says Rick Farrow, Chairman. “This time of year can be particularly taxing on families who are struggling. It is our hope that, no matter what situation they’re in, everyone can enjoy a stress-free holiday season.”

Since 2010, Farrow has donated over $400,000 to various food banks before the holiday season. The organizations that receive financial support are selected based on the strong partnerships formed in the communities where Farrow employees and offices are situated. Moreover, many of these donations complement other contributions made to charities earlier this year.

Local managers hand deliver the donation to the charitable organization in the community, often timed to coincide with employee volunteering efforts, further cementing the relationship.

These holiday donations are just one way Farrow assists those in need. Farrow offers employees two paid days off per year to volunteer. “Our employees like to take advantage of our Volunteer Program throughout the year, but especially so during the holidays,” says Grant Robinson, C.E.O. “We are committed to reinvesting in the communities that support us, and are pleased that we’re able to harness the resources of over 700 employees – what a contribution we can make together.”
