The Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR) announced in September that the 10% tariffs on 7601.10 aluminum, or unalloyed unwrought aluminum (section 232 tariffs) would be rolled back and just be imposed if quantities exceed certain volumes each month. However, no presidential proclamation or executive order has been issues yet, and therefore the section 232 tariffs on aluminum from Canada continue to be collected.
